Happy Fathers Day

Here is a letter in honour of fathers day for all fathers who have children with allergies. Let's celebrate this day together with those who deserve it and play such an important role in all our children's lives.

To the most amazing father and my darling husband,

From our hearts to yours-Happy father’s day!

Today is a day dedicated solely to you and the unbelievably important and irreplaceable role you have in our family’s world.

First I want to say THANK-YOU. Thank you so much-You are appreciated.

You have made us into a team. Turning the situation life has given us and making it into our biggest strength. With you we can conquer anything- and so we have. You have eased the burden, mellowing the bumps and have led us into a normal, happy family life- something I once thought impossible. You have turned our child from an allergy-kid into a kid with allergies. You have encouraged and facilitated his love of food.

Thank you for taking the weight off our child so that he can be a kid. I will never forget the first time our 4-year-old child went to a playdate. I sat on the couch, waiting for the phone to ring, waiting for disaster to strike. You told me everything was going to be alright. You spoke about how sometimes you need to be able to let go; that I would be robbing myself if I just lived in fear- And then you took me for a walk. Thank you for keeping me calm. Thank you for making your arms a safe place for our children and me when life gets a bit crazy and stressful.

Thank you for being the ultimate example of how a man should love and support his wife. When it came to the first day of school- I called you at work every 20 minutes- telling you all my feelings. You told me it was normal to feel that way; That it was alright and that you too were feeling the same way. Thank you for making me feel understood. That night you took the family to watch a fireworks display in celebration.

We didn’t choose this- but you embraced it; now you choose your clothing for family outings based on which pants have pockets large enough to carry an EpiPen, you don’t eat any snacks at work that would mean you can’t kiss the kids when you get home. Thank you for being the best dad anyone could ever ask for their children. You are a great father- you have created a mother and completed a family.

We love you.

What Our Clients Say

Meticulous in their preparations

During our recent visit to Israel, we really struggled to find food for our son who has anaphylactic level allergies to egg and sesame. We approached both restaurants and hotels and were told they were unable or unwilling to take responsibility for preparing his food.

After learning about Dr. Eliana on-line, we contacted her in the hopes that she could provide a ‘normal’ restaurant experience for our family.

Both she and Shani were meticulous in their preparations with the restaurants to ensure that our son had a wonderful and safe experience.

We truly appreciate their efforts to take care of our son, and to provide us with a lovely vacation experience.

Comfortable, calm, and at ease

We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the amazing gift you have given us over this Pesach- the gift of having you with us!!!!

We have NEVER felt more comfortable, calm, and at ease than we did these past 10 days. Your warmth, professionalism, kindness, and care shown through in all that you did.

My children are so grateful that they were able to be with you this Pesach. You made sure that they were so well looked after and they felt so at ease and comfortable with you! You were so amazing and approachable to them! And they LOVED all the food you so amazingly prepared (supervised allergy-free food preparation, managed menus) for them!

It’s very difficult for us to trust people when it comes to our kids and allergies. You magically were able to take away ALL of our anxieties, and nervousness (and we don’t give that away so easily!!)

We can never fully thank you enough. We truly feel that you instantly became part of our family and we look forward to G-d willing being able to be with you and plan amazing trips with you many many many more times!!!!
